What
is the 3rd Friday Art Walk? On the 3rd Friday of every month the galleries in
Millville, NJ remain open late into the evening. New exhibits open, the artists
are available to talk about their work. Art exhibitions feature work by established
artists as well as up-and-coming local talent. The bars and restaurants feature
live music. Visitors come from miles to the Arts District that has rejuvenated
this little town located halfway between Philadelphia and Atlantic City.
Millvilles Glasstown Arts District was named one of Ten Best Towns for Working Artists by Art Calendar Magazine (March 2008). The rejuvenated, 12-block area features uniquely revitalized 19th century commercial buildings and homes that have been transformed into picturesque art galleries, working-artist studios, boutiques, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Millville is conveniently located halfway between Philadelphia and Cape May. The downtown district is only three miles from the recently opened New Jersey Motorsports Park.

NEW! How Do I Show in Millville?
Make it a 3rd Friday Weekend! There is no need to leave town Friday night! With hotels close by, make it a weekend event! Millville has much more to offer, such as: Wheaton Arts with a glass museum, glassblowing demonstrations and more; the Millville Army Airfield Museum, the nation's first defense airport built in 1943; the New Jersey Motorsports Park with fun for the entire family such as F1 Karting.
