Located in Apache Junction, AZ, Independent Artist Studios is Liz Nicklus and Carl B. Johnson. We are members of the Society of American Mosaic Artists.

Modern Mosaics - Architectural Installations

Independent Artist Studios has earned a reputation of creating and installing quality and innovative public and corporate art. Our installations are located in hospitals, senior housing complexes, public buildings and colleges. No job is too big; more important - no job is too small. We are happy to collaborate with your designer or architect to ensure that our overall design compliments your project. We will work with your contractors and construction managers in scheduling.

We would be happy to consult with you for private residential installations also.

Mosaic Workshops

We are available to teach mosaic workshops to any skill level. We have taught childrens' classes, and adults. We will create the class assignments around your specifications. Our classes offer hands on instruction, and personal one-on-one coaching for our students.
